Linglestown Road, Lower Paxton Township, PA
Lower Paxton Township and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation hired Arora to plan and design this traffic calming project to enhance the transportation through the corridor and improve conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists along the state roadway, which is Linglestown's main street. The design includes two new modern roundabouts, intersection neckdowns, chicanes, center island medians, and raised crosswalks. A comprehensive urban design scheme was planned for the streetscape to enhance the historic aspects of the Village of Linglestown.
