Route 166 Widening Paving and Reconstruction of Intersections

Arora's PM for this project, and his inspection team, were responsible for the construction and inspection for the reconstruction on the Route 166 project located in Toms River, NJ. The project endured the Governor-imposed State Transportation Trust Fund shutdown and is currently in the final closeout process. This project involved pavement resurfacing with specialty mixes, mainline and shoulder milling, paving the entire roadway. Installation of a centerline NJ Barrier, additional new travel lanes with shoulder widening and safety upgrades. Project included overhead sign structures, bridge mounted sign replacements, guiderail, manholes, retaining walls, pickle barrels, drainage, ITS, utilities, paving, curb, sidewalk, DGA, transite pipe sealing, thermoplastic, latex, and epoxy long-life striping.
