Route 22 Single-Span Bridge Over NJ Transit Emergency Bridge Project

Arora provided Construction Inspection services for this emergency project, which entailed replacing an existing three-span wooden bridge with a new, wider single-span bridge over NJ TRANSIT's Raritan line tracks in Branchburg, NJ. Two, 10-foot-wide travel lanes with five-foot shoulders were constructed for the $5 million emergency bridge replacement project which was recently completed. Construction inspection supervision included footings, drilled shafts, concrete beams, concrete formwork, concrete placement, steel erection, placement of the HPC concrete deck, roadway paving, storm water drainage, utility relocations and crash-worthy traffic railings, with specialty bridge guiderails.
