Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A Program - Design of Three Multi-span Bridge Structures

As a major teaming partner, Arora and Associates, P.C. was responsible for the analysis and design of 30 sign structures including field inspection, analysis and evaluation of existing overhead span sign structures for loading imposed by new signage configurations, and the design and detailing of new overhead span sign structures, cantilevered sign structures and ground mounted structures.  Sign structures were designed to accommodate Static and/or Dynamic Message Signs (DMS).  Arora coordinated the BIM modelling of the sign structures as part of the overall project BIM model.  Overhead Sign Spans were designed and detailed to permit maintenance access to the DMS without the need for lane closures.  Arora also supported the prime consultant in preparation of the Maintenance of Traffic design as necessary for the construction of the sign structures and the bridges.
