Goethals Bridge Replacement

As a subconsultant, Arora and Associates, P.C. provided Traffic Engineering Design and Quality Assurance Review for various traffic and MOT tasks on Goethals Bridge Replacement project. We performed a sign inventory survey and prepared an in-place sign inventory plan and signing concept plan for both NJ and NY approaches for PANYNJ. Signing plans were prepared as outlined in Requirements & Provisions for Work Documents, including sign plan details. We prepared separate concept plans for signing, delineation, and pavement markings. Arora performed permanent final design for signing, delineators, and pavement marking

plans. Arora also developed a “Managed Use Lane” Concept plan for length of the project. Additionally, Arora and Associates, P.C. provided a quality control review of MOT submission and prepared contract plans and pertinent details for 60%, 90% and final submissions. Arora also reviewed, prepared and revised Design Criteria for Signing, Delineators & Pavement Markings, which detailed standards used and assumptions made for the design. This project was performed on time and within allocated budgets.
