Goethals Bridge Replacement Project

As a subconsultant, Arora provided drainage and stormwater management support services for this extremely accelerated P3 (DBOM) replacement of Goethals Bridge. Arora provided drainage system designs to manage stormwater runoff in accordance with all applicable regulations and Governmental agencies and Approvals for all Project Facilities and temporary construction stages. The drainage design complies with the EIS prepared under USCG, USACE, FHWA direction. Portions of the project were located within NJTA jurisdiction, which required extensive coordination with the Authority and compliance with NJTA drainage and hydraulic guidelines and regulations. The design also required a Waterfront Development Permit Modification, Freshwater Wetlands General Permit Modifications, New Jersey Storm Water Management Rules, and extensive soil erosion and sediment control permits.
