Robert Moses Causeway

We inspected this 29-span suspended arch bridge as part of a Biennial Inspection contract for NYSDOT Region 10. Its size and location across the Fire Island Inlet of the Great South Bay of Long Island required extensive use of specialized bridge inspection equipment, including UBIU, manlifts and inspection barges, along with extensive maintenance and protection of traffic.
