Job Description

Arora and Associates, PC is seeking qualified applicants for the following entry-level engineering position:

Duties:

• Assists the Team Leader with all aspects of daily field work such as:
  • Collecting and organizing bridge plans and reports for the bridge to be inspected
  • Setting up inspection equipment
  • Taking notes and photographs
  • Coordinating traffic control
  • Operating inspection access equipment
  • Maintaining and driving inspection vehicles
• Works in a safe manner and obeys all safety regulations
• Prepares inspection reports, sketches and load rating calculations

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering. Structural concentration preferred but not required.
• Able to work outdoors under all weather conditions, carry equipment, swim, climb structures and work in a bucket truck
• Good communication skills
• A valid driver's license
• Able to work overtime as required
• Willing and able to travel for out-of-town assignments
• Training with Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus
