Route 72 Manahawkin Bay Bridges, Widening and Rehabilitation

Aming other tasks, Arora and Associates, P.C. was responsible for lighting and electrical engineering for this bridge reconstruction project -- a coastal evacuation route to improve safety. The project constructed a parallel bridge and rehabilitated the existing bridge and provided ornamental bridge lighting. The project also involved cantilever and overhead sign structures. He is responsible for photometric calculations and roadway lighting using expressway and conventional luminaires, sign lighting warrants, and electrical system for traffic signal. His work requires voltage drop calculations, conduit fill calculations, estimate of contract quantities. Our highway lighting design utilized Visual Pro software. Total construction cost $235 million.
