Lighting & Electrical Engineering Projects
Some of our recent and major Lighting & Electrical Engineering work includes the following:
Route 70 Pedestrian Crossing, Monmouth University
Provided design for pedestrian tunnel lighting and approach pathway lighting
for the tunnel connecting a dormitory with the university campus in Monmouth
University. The lighting was designed to provide security for the students
crossing the tunnel. Architectural luminaires were used to blend with the
college campus environment. The selection of luminaires was coordinated
with university management and the State Historical Preservation Office due to
the proximity to historic Wilson Hall. We also designed the electrical
supply for storm drainage water pumps.
Route 9 & Route 79/Schanck Rd Hwy Lighting Design
Reviewed intersection lighting warrants and prepared lighting design in accordance with NJDOT design manual.
Route 29 and Delaware Avenue Flood Control, Lambertville
As subconsultant, Arora evaluated the existing lighting at the Lambertville baseball field to see if the existing lighting met the IES recommendations and designed a new lighting system. We prepared photometric calculations, plans and contract specifications. We also provided construction support services.
Route 206/24/CR 513 Highway Lighting
Roadway widening and intersection improvements including signal and continuous lighting design.
Camden Aquarium Parking Lots, Camden County
As subconsultant, Arora designed the lighting and the electrical design for the toll booth system for three parking lots. Security was the main concern for this project. Arora performed a photometric analysis, prepared plans, specifications and a cost estimate, and provided construction support services.
Southern NJ Light Rail Transit System - Camden Yard
Design of security fencing, site lighting, standby power supply for light-rail cars and power distribution to railorad switching gear within Southern NJ Light Rail Transit System's Camden Maintenance Yard.
