Arora is Partner in New River Line Station

NJ Transit has awarded the design-build contract for the first phase of a new River Line station to Northeast Remsco Construction, Inc and Arora and Associates, PC. The new station on Derousee Avenue in Pennsauken will allow passengers to transfer between the River Line light-rail system and the Atlantic City Rail Line. The station will be located on vacant land where the two rail lines cross. Arora is responsible for structural and geotechnical engineering for the station. Phase one includes a 200-foot platform and 60-foot canopy for River Line customers. Phase two will be two 300-foot long high-level platforms along the Atlantic City Rail Line.
